With experience in a global communications firm, Elliot has served clients in diverse industries, including Islamic finance, insurance, cybersecurity, palm oil as well as aerospace and defence. His analytical approach and focus on corporate profiling, issues management and media relations supported clients involved in major acquisitions and campaigns.
Working closely with stakeholders, Elliot has driven communication campaigns to promote, protect and improve the reputation of government-linked companies, multinationals, non-profit groups and listed companies.
Elliot has also worked with clients on content development, crafting key messages which navigate sensitivities surrounding defence procurement in the lead up to Asia’s largest maritime and aerospace exhibitions. At Brunei’s largest bank, he supported efforts to align the Bank’s communications with the government’s economic diversification agenda.
He currently works with professional services firms and SGX-listed companies to deliver public and investor relations programmes. Elliot holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne with a double major in Criminology and Communications.
Kelvin is an experienced sales and business bevelopment leader who has a “can-do attitude”, bringing forth valuable education and training industry experience and a passion for management. He is result-oriented and has a proven track record of improving the sales and marketing, and financial performance of organisations he has worked with.
Kelvin has more than 15 years of working experience in the higher education & professional training field. He was extensively involved in sales, business development and private school operations. He has also served various four-year CPE EduTrustaward higher education institutes in Singapore. He also travels regionally (Southeast Asia countries, China & India) to not just recruit students, but to build recruitment and business partnership network for Singapore private education institutes.
Kelvin graduated with a Practice Master’s in Digital Strategy, Leadership and Innovation from Boston University. He also holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management from Northumbria University.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and exploring the world, as he believes that knowledge is power.
Alexander Woon read law at the University of Cambridge on a President’s scholarship and Overseas Merit Scholarship. He subsequently obtained a Masters in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center. During his LLM year, Alexander was on the Dean’s List, graduated with Distinction, and received three CALI Awards for being the top student in three subjects: Law of Armed Conflict, Global Cybercrime Law, and International Civil Litigation. Upon returning to Singapore, he received Distinctions in Company Law and Evidence Law for Part A of the Singapore Bar Exam.
Professional experience
Alexander served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor/State Counsel with the Financial and Technology Crime Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers (“AGC”). He prosecuted a wide variety of crimes including corruption, white collar crime, technology crime, maid abuse, intellectual property crime, and homicide. He has appeared in both the State Courts and High Court as lead counsel and assisted with cases in the Court of Appeal. Alexander also received specialised technology and cybercrime training as part of the AGC’s Technology Crime Unit. Notably, he led evidence before the Committee of Inquiry into the SingHealth Cyberattack in 2018. Subsequently, Alexander joined the Office of Transformation and Innovation (Judiciary) as Deputy Director, tackling issues ranging from legal strategy, policy and law reform, to promoting cultural change, and developing legaltech products.
Teaching experience
Alexander has taught law to undergraduates at the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University ad adjunct faculty. He is currently the Programme Director for SMU Academy’s Graduate Certificate in Law & Technology. Alexander has joined the Singapore University of Social Sciences as full-time faculty in August 2021.
