Prakash is the founding member of RHTLaw Asia and RHT Group of Companies. He has over 20 years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary professional and specialist services, including MAS-regulated businesses across fund management, capital markets services, and a recognised market operator.
He has successfully led investments, deals structuring, post-acquisition integration and exits of businesses from start-ups to market leading businesses. As the co-founder of SDAX Digital Asset Exchange, he was instrumental in its development and continues to unlock new possibilities in traditional capital and private markets as AlDigi’s Group CEO.
Prakash spearheads the development of pioneering solutions across alternative asset classes, ESG-investing, blockchain technology and Web 3.0 solutions.
An active member of the community, Prakash is a Director of ONERHT Foundation, a registered charity and CSR vehicle of the AlDigi Group, as well as Vice Chairman of the Singapore Indian Education Trust.
Prakash graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Science, Economics. He successfully completed a blockchain strategy programme with Said Business School, University of Oxford. He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
Alexander Woon read law at the University of Cambridge on a President’s scholarship and Overseas Merit Scholarship. He subsequently obtained a Masters in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center. During his LLM year, Alexander was on the Dean’s List, graduated with Distinction, and received three CALI Awards for being the top student in three subjects: Law of Armed Conflict, Global Cybercrime Law, and International Civil Litigation. Upon returning to Singapore, he received Distinctions in Company Law and Evidence Law for Part A of the Singapore Bar Exam.
Professional experience
Alexander served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor/State Counsel with the Financial and Technology Crime Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers (“AGC”). He prosecuted a wide variety of crimes including corruption, white collar crime, technology crime, maid abuse, intellectual property crime, and homicide. He has appeared in both the State Courts and High Court as lead counsel and assisted with cases in the Court of Appeal. Alexander also received specialised technology and cybercrime training as part of the AGC’s Technology Crime Unit. Notably, he led evidence before the Committee of Inquiry into the SingHealth Cyberattack in 2018. Subsequently, Alexander joined the Office of Transformation and Innovation (Judiciary) as Deputy Director, tackling issues ranging from legal strategy, policy and law reform, to promoting cultural change, and developing legaltech products.
Teaching experience
Alexander has taught law to undergraduates at the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University ad adjunct faculty. He is currently the Programme Director for SMU Academy’s Graduate Certificate in Law & Technology. Alexander has joined the Singapore University of Social Sciences as full-time faculty in August 2021.
Choun Mun is the Chief Executive Officer of RHT Capital Pte. Ltd., taking the position in 2016. He has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and equity capital markets locally and regionally.
In his current role, he is responsible for establishing and growing the corporate finance advisory services of the company. He is also involved in advising and underwriting of IPOs and numerous secondary fund raising exercises for companies listed on SGX and regional stock exchanges.
As a Full Sponsor of the SGX Catalist Board, Choun Mun strives to expand the company’s market share as part of the group’s expansion effort.
Choun Mun graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
How Soon is the Managing Director at RHT Capital Pte. Ltd. He is responsible for the general management and performance of the company, business development and maintaining the quality of advice given to clients.
How Soon has had many years of transactional and management experience in corporate finance in international and local financial institutions, and boutique advisory firms. He has played a key role in advising companies both local and international companies on a wide range of transactions relating to both equity capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions.
He is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with honours from Nanyang Business School, and a Master in Business Administration from The Chicago Booth School of Business.
Ti Wee leads the origination of projects, regional investments and risk management at RHT DigiCapital.
He brings over 10 years of combined experience as a fund manager and research analyst, focusing on the REITs sector across Asia. With his vast knowledge in the commercial properties sector and astute analytical skills, Ti Wee successfully supported major transactions and corporate exercises for REITs in Singapore and property companies across Asia:
His skills were recognised soon after he began his career at RHB Securities in Hong Kong, receiving several awards including Starmine (Singapore) Best Stock Picker – Real Estate Category in 2013. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh (UK) with a PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2009.
Rizwi is a Director at RHT i-Assets Advisory and is one of the founding members of RHTLaw Asia. He has been in practice for about 20 years and is the Acting Head of RHTLaw Asia’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice.
In the area of Intellectual Property, Rizwi’s main areas of legal practice covers the creation, protection, commercialisation and enforcement of intellectual property in Singapore, and in the region. For technology matters, Rizwi’s focus covers mainly data privacy issues, personal data protection and cyber security issues. The main regulatory aspects of Rizwi’s practice areas include telecommunications and competition law.
In addition to his areas of practice, Rizwi also heads the Consumer Brands Industry Group for RHTLaw Asia.
Rizwi contributes regularly on topics including data protection and franchising and has been featured in local and international media on issues relating to cybersecurity and data protection.
