We are pleased to announce that Tan Chong Huat, Non-Executive Chairman of RHT Fintech Holdings has been reappointed as Deputy Chairman of SGX Disciplinary Committee starting 1 April 2020 and has been in this role since 2017. He is also appointed a member of the SGX Appeals Committee. The role of the Disciplinary Committee involves hearing charges brought by SGX against Relevant Persons who are alleged to have violated any of SGX’s Rules. They may then appeal to the Appeals Committee against the decision of the Disciplinary Committee. The decision made by the Appeals Committee will be final. There is a total of 14 members in the Disciplinary Committee and 6 members in the Appeal Committee according to SGX website. Chong Huat is a Senior Partner at RHTLaw Asia and a leading finance and corporate lawyer.
